"A photo that stood out to me"
Young Chef in a Quest to Become Independent

This slideshow stood out to me, because in my opinion a lot of young women who strive being independent would relate to it. For the following reasons; the realistic factor, the simplicity of it, as well as the fact that the woman in the video is not acting, she is expressing her own reality. A woman, that wants to share her semi biography with the world. However, it’s was a great combination between the audio and the pictures. While she was speaking there were pictures appearing which related to her personality, even the smallest part of it for example; when she was talking about freedom some posters on her wall appeared with three symbols hanging, one of them is a falcon and birds in general are a symbol of freedom, the other one was about a girl in London which refers to where she comes from and mostly every person feels more free in their own country, and the third one is a picture of her childhood and that might occur as well to the time where she felt free the most. Then a picture of an open lock appeared which might mean that it’s a sign of luck or that she is on her right path to freedom. Even the smallest detail for instance is the sound effect that you hear like the time when she was changing, and when she was working in the kitchen adds to the realistic part of the video. A small real case scenario like the following one can be a huge inspiration to others. Reading her story after watching the slideshow amazed me she's such a strong independent ambitious women whom struggled a lot in her life and still is going and wanting to accomplish her dreams I admired how the tattoos in her body represent different aspects in her life. This is one of her quotes which struck me, Ms. Rutherford "I worked hard to get where am at, am be proud of that".
